Justice Cup 7v7 Tournament Rules
General Match Rules
• Format: 7v7 (including goalkeeper).
• Duration: Two halves of 23 minutes each with a 5-minute halftime break.
• Kick-offs: Ball may be played in any direction on kick-off.
• Restarts: FIFA rules apply for free kicks, corners, goal kicks, and kick-ins.
• Slide Tackles: Not permitted (for safety). A slide tackle will result in an indirect free kick.
Goalkeepers are allowed to slide within their box if playing the ball safely.
• Offside: No offside rule in 7v7.
• Substitutions: Unlimited substitutions.
Points System
• Win: 3 points
• Tie: 1 point
• Loss: 0 points
• Tiebreakers (Group Stage):
1. Goal Differential
2. Goals Scored
3. Head-to-Head Result
4. Coin Toss (if still tied)
Discipline & Fair Play
• Two Yellow Cards (same game): 1 game suspension.
• Straight Red Card: 1 game suspension.
• Zero Tolerance Policy:
- Foul language or disrespect toward referees, opponents, or spectators will not be tolerated.
- Any player showing violent conduct, threats, or abusive behavior will be suspended from the
tournament and asked to leave the premises.
• Referee Authority:
- The referee has absolute discretion to issue cards, stop, or suspend the match if player
behavior threatens the spirit of the game.
• Team Responsibility: Coaches and captains are responsible for their team’s conduct on and
off the field.
Safety & Conduct
• Shin Guards: Recommended for all players.
• Jewelry: Not allowed (for safety).
• Spectator Conduct: Disrespect or abuse from fans will result in warnings to the team, and
repeat offenses may lead to team disqualification.
• Alcohol & Substances: Not permitted on tournament grounds.
Knockout Stage Rules
• If a match ends in a draw during the knockout rounds:
- No overtime (to maintain schedule).
- Penalty shootout: 3 shooters per team, then sudden death if tied.
