U8 - 2022 Spring Edition

U8 Football League

Rules

1. Born on or after 2014. (Mixed teams are welcome, boys and girls)

2. 4 a side game (3 field players plus the goalkeeper), 

3. 40  minutes per game, 20 minutes each half with 5 minutes break.

4. Unlimited substitutions made inside the technical area.

5. In case of one of the teams are late to the game or no-show they can get a 3-0 automatic match loss.

6. The ball used is Nº 4.

7. The throw ins are with the feet.

8. The teams should use the same equipment with number on the back (The players should use the same number for all the competition).

9. In case of two teams have similar equipment’s, the organization decide one to use the vests.

10. Win 3pts / Draw 1 / Lose 0

11. Minimum of 7 players registered and maximum of 10.

12. If one player, plays for one team, it’s not able to participate more in this league for another team.

13. Each team are responsible to bring is own water. (The venue has free water machine).

Disciplinary Sanctions

1. If one player gets 2 yellow cards in the same game is sent off. (The team can replace that player 3 minutes after the red card).

2. If one player get direct red card are sent off. (No player can be added in his place).

3. If one player gets 3 yellows are one game suspended.

4. In case of a direct red card the organization will decide about the sanction.

Tie-break 

1. In case of two teams finish with the same points the tie break is;

2. Goal difference.

3. Most goals scored.

4. Team with more points between each other (Goals don’t count)

5. Least number of conceded goals.

6. Younger team.

Top scorer

1. If two players finish with the same goals, the tie break is;

2. Younger player.

3. Player from the team with least goals scored.

4. Player from the team with worst classification.

MVP

1. In case two players have the same votes for the tournament MVP, the tie break is;

2. Younger player.

3. Decided by organization.

Best Goalkeeper

1. In case two players have the same votes for the best goalkeeper, the tie break is;

2. Younger Goalkeeper.

3. Decided by organization.

Et Pluribus is not responsible for any group or personal insurance regarding the participating players and teams, in case of any injury or accident, it’s from the teams or the parents/guardian’s responsibility to provide assistance to their athletes.

In case of any player damage or broke something in the sports field, the team should be responsible for his acts.
